An update:

Barton Hill Farm closed to the public in 2004 following the introduction of zoo licensing.
However, we still retain most of the animals and intend to keep them to see out the rest of their days. The donkeys went to the donkey sanctuary in Sidmouth in Devon and one or two other animals have now passed away but the majority remain.
Our Kunekune herd has grown and keeps me busy most of the time with boars at stud, Arcs for sale and of course piglets always being born.
I do try to rehome unwanted Kunes too as often people's circumstances change and their pigs find themselves in need of pastures new.
The Barton Hill Centre for people with additional needs is slowly growing and the small animals are cared for much of the time by the clients.
Occassionally we still take small animals and birds from the RSPCA and give them a home.
We also have two more fox cubs now - Lilyroo who we reared ourselves from a small cub when she was brought to us by a member of the public who had found her, and Hazel. Hazel was reared by the 'Fox Project' in Sussex, a charity which rears orphaned cubs and releases them back into the wild, although Hazel is blind so cannot be released.
